So this weekend was a little rough for our family. Both kids and I got sick leaving mom to take care of everyone and do all the extra laundry involved :(. I’m still under the weather so my brother volunteered to take pictures and send them over to me.

Sorry to hear you guys are sick! If you’ve got upper respiratory symptoms the hydrasense saline spray is very helpful in clearing out congestion. Costco has 2 pkg. for a very good price compared to drug stores. I can’t take most decongestant medications but I find the spray does a pretty good job of keeping my head clear and allowing me to breathe.

Has anyone ever complained about the ground turkey? Had it once a long time ago and decided to try it again and only one person out of 8 people liked it. Some of my family refused to eat it. That is bad!
We lover the ground turkey which makes a great, low fat alternative to ground beef for chilli or shepherds pie.
We recently had the ground turkey ….the key is to spice it up.
Does anyone know the best time to buy all-season tires and winter tires from Costco? If you got a great deal, what time of year did you make the purchase?

If you look at the current coupons, there’s a promo going on right now for tires.
I would say that this is a good time to buy.
Our auto repair shop/tire store told us no tire dealer can touch the price of Costco tires. We have found that Costco prices were very fair for our vehicles. Whenever Costco has a cash back coupon, I would purchase them if needed. They seem to have cash backs at all times of year so keep watching for the weekly flyer.
All seasons should be available all year and winter tires probably from late summer onward.
P.S. Apparently Canadian Tire has managed to beat Costco prices on some tires for smaller vehicles but check specs very carefully to be sure you are getting the exact same tire.

Kirkland Paper Towels: has anyone else noticed that they are not as thick as before? We have an old roll and it’s double the thickness of these newer ones.
The seem the same to me.
I once got a roll that was missing 1 ply it was faulty maybe that has happened to you as well

As far as I’ve seen, the caramel flavour is not in the warehouses, best option is to call your warehouse and ask

I’ve only ever seen chocolate in store. Didn’t even know there was a caramel. On sale at Costco online though, but higher price as it includes “free” shipping.

Does anyone buy the popcorn chicken from Hampton House? They must have changed suppliers or something. They used to be so good and now they are nasty
Same with their chicken burgers. They used to be the best now they’re rubbery like every other breaded chicken burger out there
I noticed that too. Its pre cooked now and not as good
Yeah, they changed something, We used to get the nuggets, not anymore… we went back to M&M meat shops for chicken fingers.
They used to be so good, but I am happy (but not happy) to see that we aren’t the only ones who noticed… and to know that it wasn’t just a tainted batch… I ended up using the rest diced up and made nugget poutine.
Very sad to see that they’re not bringing back the Pollock burger patties. This things are really good.
I’m pretty sure these were on 9.97 clearance once before, last year, and they eventually brought them back.
